| THE HERITAGE OF CEBU MONUMENT Parian District, Colon Street. This is a giant sculpture, which shows the significant history of Cebu, built by Eduardo Catrillo. This is surrounded by fences but you are allowed to enter. Just find the open gate around it and don't hesitate to enter. Just follow the instructions posted once you enter and have fun taking pictures! |
| JESUIT HOUSE 1730 Parian District, Colon Street. This is just beside The Heritage of Cebu Monument. You have to enter in to a junction beside the monument and you'll see a signboard saying "Jesuit House 1730" on that spot. If you think you can't find it, ask for directions because this place is hidden inside a scrap shop. |
| TAOIST TEMPLE Beverly Hills Subdivision, Lahug. You get to see the view of the city from this place. Enjoy taking pictures and brag to the people in social medias that you were in China! Haha just kidding. It's really solemn in there so you have to settle down your voice because this is where some Chinese people or people with the same religion as theirs pray. They do allow visitors to come in without entrance fee. |
| CEBU ZOO Capitol Hills, Lahug. It's not too far from Taoist Temple so visit the zoo after. They allow you to interact with some animals with care. I just feel sorry for the other animals that were kept inside the small cages. It's not very spacious for them to move around and the reptiles are overcrowding their area. They also have cottages there for those who are planning to have their picnic. They have a garden too but we didn't visit it. Entrance fee is P20 (Rate is subject to change). |

| TEMPLE OF LEAH Cebu Transcentral Hwy, Cebu City, Cebu Check out this temple made out of love! Teodorico Adarna built this Roman inspired temple for his wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. This is located on the highlands of Cebu and is open to the public. One should hire a taxi or a motorcycle from JY Mall, Lahug, for you to get here. Entrance fee is P50/person. |
| SANDIEGO YAP ANCESTRAL HOUSE Parian Street, Cebu City This is one of the oldest houses of the Philippines still standing in the heart of Cebu. There is a museum inside where one should pay P50/person to get in. |
| MAGELLAN'S CROSS Cebu City, Cebu The first Christian cross planted in Cebu by Portuguese and Spanish explorers ordered by Ferdinand Magellan. It is inside the small chapel where people offer their prayers. It is located right next to Sto.Niño Basilica. |

Pigafetta Street, Cebu City, 6000 Another famous museum of Cebu which was originally constructed as a military defense under the order of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. It became a multi purpose structure as time went by before it officially became a museum. In front of the museum is the Plaza Independencia. |
