My cousin, Alvi has never been on the beach this year since summer so she and I decided to pack our bags and go camping in one of San Remigio's beaches. One thing I've learned from this trip is to never hit the beach on a gloomy weather unless you want to swim with the seaweeds. Did I enjoy? OF COURSE. I'm with my crazy travel buddy after all.
HOW TO GET HERE:
*Go to North Bus Terminal and ride a bus bound for San Remigio. The fare would be around P150. Tell the bus conductor to drop you off in San Remigio's 7-11.
*Once you reach in your destination, you'll find plenty of motorcycle and tricycle drivers who will take you around
San Remigio. I'll explain further about the fares on each destinations.

THINGS TO DO
GO CAMPING IN ORONGAN BEACH RESORT
This is perhaps the most beautiful beach San Remigio has that I've seen online, but I was out of luck when I came to this place because it was gloomy and very windy; however, that never stopped me from having fun! We went on camping overnight and it costs us P100 for the tent area and another P100(P50 if you have no plans on staying overnight) each for the entrance fee. If you have no tent, they'll offer you to rent one of theirs for P1,000. So here's my camping hack. Check out Tent-4-Rent Cebu and you'll thank me later! They also have rooms available costing P1,500-2,000 if camping isn't your thing. To get here, you ride on a motorcycle from 7-11 for P50 per person. If you choose to go with a tricycle, it'll be P25 per person. Most tricycle drivers will wait until they're fully loaded, that's why we didn't pick this option.
SUNSET BY THE BEACH
I have a friend who claims that San Remigio has one of the most beautiful sunset views in Cebu. He wasn't wrong, I tell you. If you're curious, stay a little bit longer.

I'm just going to post the Facebook links of these beach resorts because I don't want to go in to details about it. Apparantly I was beach hopping on different resorts because they were all lining up on one street. To get to these resorts, you can take a tricycle ride from 7-11. The fare should probably be around P10 per person.

SAN JUAN NEPOMUCENO PARISH CHURCH
The church was built on April 12, 1864 by Rev. Fr. Ceferino Montecillo, the first Parish Priest in San Remigio. This church including the Lapyahan Beach is considered to be a historical site since archeologists retrieved 12 burials dating circa AD410-550.
GOING HOME:
You can wait for a bus bound for Cebu near 7-11 but that means you'll end up standing for a long duration until someone who's seated gets down. So what you can do is to ride a tricycle from 7-11 going to the bus terminal and find a bus bound for Cebu City. The fare is around P10.
